European Parliament: Moldova should have prospects to join EU one day
The European Parliament approved today by a large majority its recommendation to the Council, the Commission and the European External Action Service to offer Moldova the prospect of joining the EU one day.

Meeting Werner Schulz with EaP Civil Society Forum Steering Committee
The EaP Civil Society has soon been in existing for 3 years. This unique project has brought hundreds of civil society organisations from our Eastern Neighbourhood countries together. At the last meeting of the Steering Committee in Brussels I attended their meeting for a couple of hours to exchange thoughts and views about the their work and our activities in the European Parliament.

MEP Urges Not to Give Money to Lukashenko
A member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament from the German Green party, Werner Schulz, called on the international community to suspend all financial assistance to Belarus until "radical reforms" are conducted in the country. "Any economic assistance will only play into hands of Lukashenko system and aggravate the problems and fears of the civilian population," said the MEP.
Green Resolution on the EU-Russia Summit of 9-10 June 11
Im the run-up to the EU-Russia Summit in June in Russia the European Parlament debated about the state of the EU-Russia relations. The Greens/EFA expressed that the cooperation can only be built on shared common values. Among others they called on the Russian to recognize the Civil-Society-Forum, that provides the framework for the inclusion into the the EU-Russia relations.
